The Competition
At Teen Universe USA, Competition Weekend celebrates empowerment, individuality, and personal growth. Pageantry should be more than a competition—a transformative experience where every participant feels seen, supported, and inspired. Throughout the weekend, contestants engage in interactive rehearsals, group bonding activities, and professionally produced shows. With the guidance of a creative team, participants work together to bring these shows to life, forming meaningful friendships and gaining self-confidence in an inclusive and uplifting environment.
The Preliminary Show: allows contestants to confidently take the stage, presenting themselves to the judges in activewear/swimsuit and evening gown segments. It’s about appearance, poise, presence, and authentic self-expression.

The Final Coronation Show: We proudly crown the new Teen Universe USA, Petite Universe USA, Teen Universe Petite USA, and Teen Universe USA LATINA. These titles honor young women who embody leadership, integrity, and a commitment to growth. Yet beyond the crown, every participant walks away empowered—with renewed self-belief, lasting connections, and the inspiration to lead and make a difference.

Contestants participate in three key areas of competition:

Activewear/Swimsuit – Evaluated on confidence, stage presence, and overall presentation.

Evening Gown – Judged on grace, poise, personal style, and how contestants express themselves through movement and appearance.

Interview – A relaxed, conversation-style interview where judges assess communication skills, authenticity, and personality, not opinions or beliefs.

Scores from these preliminary phases determine the semifinalists. Depending on the total number of participants, contestants will advance. Those selected will compete again in activewear/swimsuit and evening gown during the final show. From there, five finalists will be chosen.
​
The top 5 will participate in an on-stage interview.. Judges will then decide based on overall impression, growth potential, and the contestant’s ability to lead with purpose and integrity.
